Positioning guides operate on the principle of mechanical constraint and guidance. As bottles move along conveyor systems, the guides create physical boundaries that limit lateral movement and rotational freedom. This is achieved through carefully calculated geometries that account for bottle dimensions, center of gravity, and movement dynamics. The guides may incorporate tapered entry sections to gently capture misaligned bottles, straight alignment sections for stable transport, and exit sections that transition bottles to subsequent stations. Some advanced systems use adjustable or spring-loaded guides to accommodate different bottle sizes while maintaining consistent positioning pressure.
