工作原理
The siloxane backbone is synthesized via hydrolysis and condensation of organosilicon monomers (e.g., dimethyldichlorosilane). The Si-O bond has high bond energy (452 kJ/mol), providing thermal stability. Flexibility arises from the low rotational barrier around the Si-O bond. Crosslinking occurs through residual silanol groups or functional side chains, forming a three-dimensional network.
