工作原理
The silica base material melts at casting temperatures to form a viscous slag layer between the mold wall and solidifying steel shell. This layer provides lubrication to prevent sticking, controls heat extraction through thermal resistance, absorbs non-metallic inclusions from the steel, and protects the molten steel from oxidation. The viscosity-temperature relationship of the silica-based slag is critical for maintaining proper mold lubrication and heat transfer characteristics.
