工作原理
When a circuit breaker interrupts fault current, an electric arc forms between separating contacts. Arc runner contacts provide a low-resistance path that attracts and guides this arc into the arc chute structure. The arc is then split into multiple series arcs by metallic plates, which increases arc voltage, reduces current, and enhances cooling through thermal radiation and convection. This process rapidly deionizes the plasma and extinguishes the arc within milliseconds.
