工作原理
Moving contacts operate on electromagnetic actuation principles. When the contactor coil is energized, it creates a magnetic field that moves an armature, mechanically transferring motion to the contact carrier. This causes the moving contacts to bridge the gap and press against stationary contacts, completing the electrical circuit. Upon de-energization, spring mechanisms return the moving contacts to their open position, breaking the circuit. The contact pressure ensures low electrical resistance, while arc suppression systems (like arc chutes or magnetic blowouts) manage arcing during disconnection.

Typically copper alloys (e.g.copper-tungstencopper-chromiumor silver-nickel composites) for high conductivity and arc resistanceoften with silver plating (AgCdOAgSnO2) to reduce contact resistance and oxidation. Carrier arms are usually made of steel or copper for structural support and current carrying.
