工作原理
The MOV operates based on the grain boundary effect in its polycrystalline structure. At normal voltages, the grain boundaries present high resistance. When voltage exceeds the threshold (clamping voltage), the grain boundaries break down, creating conductive paths that allow current to flow through the component, thereby limiting the voltage across the protected circuit.
