工作原理
The backing plate functions as a load-bearing substrate that anchors the friction material. During braking, hydraulic pressure activates the caliper, pressing the friction material against the rotor. The backing plate distributes the resulting shear forces evenly, prevents deformation under extreme pressure and temperature, and conducts heat away from the friction interface to prevent thermal degradation.
