工作原理
Cable glands work through mechanical compression and sealing mechanisms. When tightened, an internal compression nut or seal deforms radially against the cable jacket, creating a secure grip and environmental seal. Simultaneously, the gland body threads into the equipment housing, forming a secondary seal at the entry point. This dual-sealing action prevents cable movement, protects against ingress of contaminants, and maintains the equipment's IP (Ingress Protection) rating.
材料
Typically constructed from brassstainless steel (304/316)nickel-plated brassor engineered plastics (PAPBT). Sealing elements use nitrile rubber (NBR)siliconeViton (FKM)or EPDM depending on chemical resistance requirements.
