工作原理
The Gate/Disc operates on a linear motion principle where it moves perpendicular to the flow path. When the valve stem rotates, it converts rotational motion into linear motion through threads, raising or lowering the gate/disc. In the open position, the gate/disc retracts completely into the valve bonnet, creating an unobstructed flow path. In the closed position, it seats firmly against two parallel sealing surfaces, creating a metal-to-metal or soft-seated seal that prevents fluid passage. The wedge-shaped design provides self-energizing sealing as system pressure increases.

Common materials include ASTM A216 WCB (carbon steel)ASTM A351 CF8/CF8M (stainless steel 304/316)ASTM A494 CW-6MC (Hastelloy C)and ASTM B62 (bronze).
