A Process Connection is a specialized mechanical interface component designed to mount and seal protection sheaths (such as thermocouple sheaths, sensor housings, or cable conduits) onto industrial machinery or process equipment. It provides a secure, leak-proof, and vibration-resistant attachment point while maintaining the functional integrity of the protected element (e.g., temperature sensor, wiring). These connections typically feature standardized threads, flanges, or clamping mechanisms that comply with industry specifications to ensure compatibility, safety, and ease of maintenance in harsh operating conditions.

The Process Connection operates by creating a mechanical and often sealing interface between the protection sheath and the host equipment.
