工作原理
Storage media operate by altering physical or electronic states to represent binary data (0s and 1s). In magnetic media (e.g., HDD platters), data is stored via magnetization of ferromagnetic material. In solid-state media (e.g., NAND flash), data is stored by trapping electrons in floating-gate transistors. Optical media (e.g., CDs) use pits and lands to reflect laser light differently. The media's state is read by sensors (heads, lasers, or electrical probes) and interpreted by controllers to retrieve stored information.
